A name, and what kind of answer it is

Four catalogues, kept apart on purpose. The desk plans trips on 236 named public waters, each with an agency link somebody verified. The fleet knows the names of 1,161 — most of those records were assembled from agency pages by a pipeline and never read by a person, so the desk shows their review provenance without promoting them to operational waters.

Fish are the same shape of answer: the fleet catalogue names 65 of them in published writing, and this desk holds a thermal record for 25. Where it holds none it says so, because a band belonging to a different animal is worse than a blank.

So every answer carries one of three labels. Operational here: the desk can reason about it on this device — 236 waters and 25 fish.
