Sections — how to get around

01
Scroll the rail sideways when a destination sits off-screen: every section is on it, from the desk through the debrief to Find and Reference.
02
On the water is field mode — big targets, no typing, and it keeps working with no signal. The field guide plates work offline too.
03
Jump takes you there without scrolling. Theme stays on this device.

Three acts

The three jobs

Trip Prep
Where, when, conditions, targeting, gear, pack, field brief. Progress from what you actually did — not from packets carried.
On the water
Log what you are seeing in taps, not typing. The desk reads it back as a reasoned presentation change, and makes you write down why you changed.
Field Debrief
What the water was doing, what you tried, what you learned — and what your record says across every trip. Personal field intelligence, not a catch log.

Plan the trip. Record what you saw.

No active trip yet. Field Ops will keep one Water → Species → Presentation context in view.

Sheets to carry to the water

A sheet is the plan on one page: the desk’s read of the water and the fish, the one change you will test, and what ends the day. Every value says how it is known. Issue it, revise it when the day changes, and print it or save it as a PDF.
